The Vispring Devonshire mattress is filled with soft, luxurious and fully sustainable and traceable Wool fillings. Not only are the fillings very comfortable, but they're also able to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the night and naturally deter bed bugs and dust mites. Wool is warm in the winter and cool in the summer as well as being fully breathable. Vispring has also fitted breather vents to the sides of the mattress to further allow for ventilation. The Wool used in this mattress is 300gsm British fleece wool then 1,700gsm of hand-teased Platinum Certified Devonshire fleece wool. Overlaid with 600gsm of British fleece wool.

The pocket springs within this mattress are hand nested, and designed to operate completely independently from one another, ensuring you receive the perfect support where and when required, as well as preventing disturbance from restless partners. The 1326 springs within this mattress will prevent pressure points from forming, which are the main cause of aches and pains. This mattress is available in a choice of three firmness levels, Soft, Medium and Firm. Whilst Vispring do have a guideline as to the intended user (Soft up to 11 stone (70kg), Medium up to 16 stone (102kg) and Firm up to 20 stone (127kg)), ultimately, the selection is down to the user and your own personal preference, as a Vispring mattress will offer comfort and support unlike any other. Designed to be more luxurious than some other brands, a Vispring mattress will feel relatively soft compared to other first-class mattresses, but we are on hand to assist with any questions and to offer any advice you need.

The Vispring Devonshire is a tufted mattress, hence the dimples on the surface, which is done to ensure a consistent and even level of firmness through the mattress, as well as increasing durability. This is a turnable mattress and will require turning and rotating once per season (although we recommend fortnightly for the first three months) to aid even settlement. There are handles for movement when required. This mattress also has two rows of side stitched fillings to increase the strength of the side walls.
