Product Description

Solid Mahogany furniture made in a traditional way, inspired by the villages of England and France. Hand-crafted detail combined with a light distressed finish. Our Mahogany Village furniture has been designed with a traditional style in mind, with pieces for the living room, bedroom, dining room, home office and hallway. Made from solid mahogany wood all pieces have their own individual character, including some irregularities, which makes each piece unique.
Polished in a golden brown finish, with dovetail drawers and floating panels each item is purposely aged to add further character.

"On the whole, lovely to look at.............. and seeing the dimensions on the site, made me believe that the desk was just what I wanted. Sadly it has proved not to be the case. The cupboard has no way of hanging files within, nor does it come with a shelf, so I shall have to make one or two. The drawers look lovely on the front, they do hold a4 sheets of paper paper but no folders. They are not the same depth as the desk. I have got to repair 2 drawers as they bottoms are loose and I have lost some of the smaller contents thus imploring me to improve on the desk. It is with a sad heart that I must admit that the desk does not justify the cost. But I will endeavour to improve on it's quality by my own efforts. I also found that a cutlery drawer in the middle drawer helps to separate my writing impliments and other office items, as this drawer too is lacking in the possibility of separate compartments. "
